8 a.m. update: Current drive times

A semi hauling chlorine stalled on the northbound Lafayette Bridge in St. Paul and the left lane is blocked. It's been there for nearly an hour. And the pain is now being felt by commuters as far back as Thompson Avenue. Plan on a 10 minute delay.

Over on northbound Hwy. 169, a pair of wrecks is adding to the drive time between Hwy. 101 and I-494. The crashes are at Pioneer Trail and ahead at Anderson Lakes Pkwy.

The jam on northbound I-35W in Burnsville is not budging one bit, even though a crash at 113th Street has been moved to the right shoulder. Plan on 30 minutes to reach downtown Minneapolis from Burnsville Pkwy.
