8 a.m. update: Current drive times

The biggest snag on the system at this hour is a fender bender on the right shoulder of northbound Hwy. 169 at Anderson Lakes Pkwy. That incident is causing traffic to bunch up from the river bridge up to 494, adding about 5 minutes to the drive.

Over in St. Paul, road work that has traffic sluggish on northbound 35E over the Cayuga Bridge in downtown St. Paul. Southbound 35E putzes along from Hwy. 36 to downtown St. Paul.

The usual congestion on eastbound 94 from 7th Street through the Lowry Hill Tunnel is in place. It's just exacerbated today by a stalled vehicle on the right shoulder just past Olson Hwy.
