8 a.m. update: Crash closes American Blvd. in Bloomington

Authorities have shut down eastbound American Blvd. at Old Cedar Avenue in Bloomington as they deal with a roll over crash. There are injuries. Police are calling for extrication.

Authorities have shut down eastbound American Blvd. at Old Cedar Avenue in Bloomington as they deal with a roll over crash. There are injuries. Police are calling for extrication.

Elsewhere:

Westbound 610 is still plugged up because of roll over wreck near East River Road. Traffic is backed up beyond University Avenue.

Northbound 694 from 40th Street to Hwy. 36 in Oakdale is unusually heavy and slow.

The crash on westbound 94 at Mounds Blvd. has cleared. Look for off and on slow traffic from McKnight Road over to Hwy. 280.

A new crash is being reported on northbound 35E at Ayd Mill Road in St. Paul.

Be prepared to hit the brakes on southbound 35W from Industrial Blvd down to 94. The same is true on eastbound 394 from Hwy. 169 over to 94.
