By the sounds of it, somebody was hurt on the railroad tracks below Hwy. 10 at Egret Blvd. It was not immediately clear if the person was a motorist or a pedestrian.
Several rescue workers have lowered a basket over the side of the overpass and aircare has landed on the highway.
Eastbound Hwy. 10 is closed at Hanson Blvd. as are exit ramps to eastbound Hwy. 10. Traffic is being diverted off eastbound 10 at Hanson.
