8:30 a.m. update: Current drive times

Authorities have opened Lafayette Road in both directions at University Avenue after a crash had the road closed for about 2 hours. A car struck a power pole and lines were blocking the road.

Speaking of blocking, the right and left shoulders of eastbound 394 at Park Place Blvd. are blocked with crashers. That has traffic coming to a crawl starting at Hwy. 169.

Northbound I-35W is picking up the pace now that a wreck at 106th Street is gone and the debris has been swept up.

Southbound 494 from 94 down to 394: 13 minutes

Eastbound 394 from 494 to 35W via 94: 13 minutes
