Conditions on west and south metro roads are deteriorating quickly due to the snow that has been falling for the past hour.
Both directions of Hwy. 169 in Shakopee are crammed due to crashes. They are northbound at County Road 83 and southbound at County Road 69.
Nearby on eastbound Hwy. 212, traffic is parked approaching Hwy. 41 where a crash is blocking the left lane.
Closer to the core of the metro, roads are still in decent shape, but road south of 394 are starting to see the effects of the snow. A vehicle spun out on southbound Hwy. 169 at Cedar Lake Road. That has traffic knotted up from Medicine Lake Road past the scene.
Here are some current travel times:
North metro
Southbound 35W from 95th Avenue to downtown Minneapolis: 15 minutes
Southbound 35E from County 96 to I-94: 12 minutes.
