While east metro commuters are moving without many issues, those in the west are doubling their normal drive times, at least those on Hwy. 100, Hwy. 169, I-494 and I-94 are.
Construction on I-494 between the Fish Lake Interchange and Hwy. 55 has traffic down to a single lane. That has eastbound 94 traffic crammed from Hwy. 101 in Rogers down to the Fish Lake Split. That trip is nearly 30 minutes.
Drivers on southbound Hwy. 169 are creeping along from Hwy. 610 to the Crosstown. Plan on 40 to 45 minutes for that trip.
Southbound Hwy. 100 bogs down at 36th Avenue and remains heavy through the construction zone from 394 down to Excelsior Blvd. That is 20 minutes.
