The snow that has spread across the southern half of the metro has made roads greasy, and in turn brought a handful of spin outs and crashes in the past 15 minutes.

A vehicle collided with a guard rail on southbound Hwy. 169 at Cedar Lake Road in St. Louis Park, and that has traffic jamming back to Plymouth Avenue.

The patrol is on the scene of a spin out on the ramps and collector lanes at the Hwy. 100 interchange with eastbound I-394.

In Chaska and Eden Prairie, eastbound Hwy. 212 has crashes at Hwy. 41 and Powers Blvd. The road is snow covered so use caution.

It's not the snow, but a stall that is snarling traffic on westbound I-94 in downtown Minneapolis. The broken down car is in the center lane at Hwy. 65/I-35W with the jam forming back at Portland Avenue.
