In the northwest metro, rain and wet roads are contributing to a slow roll from Rogers to the Fish Lake interchange in Maple Grove. The delays begin at County Road 81. There are a few breaks in the congestion, but things are slow all the way to 94.
The usual congestion is in place on westbound 494 from Cedar Avenue to Hwy. 100. That is 15 minutes.
And it's crowded on southbound 35W from Lake Drive to 694. That is 10 minutes.
Democratic Gov. Tim Walz held up Minnesota as an example to follow during his first and only debate with Republican Sen. JD Vance of Ohio.
