7 a.m. update: Current drive times

Crashes have bogged down the commute across the Twin Cities, but the north and west metro seem to have it the worst.

The latest mishap is on southbound Hwy. 169 at I-394. The vehicles involved have moved to the right shoulder.

Eastbound Hwy. 10 has a vile flow from Anoka over to 35W. Look for a crash in the area between Hanson Blvd. and Egret Blvd.

In the south, northbound I-35 is sluggish from County 60 up to the Burnsville Split. Meanwhile westbound 494 crawls from Hwy. 100 past a crash near Hwy. 169.

Eastbound Hwy. 10 from Hwy. 169 to 35W: 17 minutes

Westbound 694 from 35E to Hwy. 252: 10 minutes. Eastbound is 11 minutes.

West metro

Eastbound 94 from Hwy. 101 to 494: 19 minutes

Southbound 494 from 94 down to 394: 13 minutes

Southbound Hwy. 169 from I-94 to Crosstown: 15 minutes

Southbound Hwy. 100 from I-94 to Crosstown: 24 minutes

South metro

Northbound 35W from County 42 to Crosstown: 13 minutes To downtown Minneapolis: 19 minutes.

Northbound Cedar Avenue from 35E to the Crosstown: 10 minutes

Northbound 169 from Canterbury Road to 494: 12 minutes

Eastbound Hwy. 212 from Dell Road to Crosstown: 5 minutes

Westbound 494 from Cedar Avenue to Hwy. 100: 12 minutes. Eastbound 494 from Hwy. 169 to 35W: 6 minutes
