7 a.m. update: Current drive times

Off the mainline, the intersection of Pilot Knob Road and McAndrews Road in Apple Valley is shut down due to a crash.

Up on Forest Lake, traffic is starting to shake loose on southbound I-35. Traffic had been knotted up for about 3 miles due to an earlier car fire between Hwy. 97 and the Forest Lake Split.

Southbound 494 from 94 down to 394: 7 minutes

Eastbound 394 from 494 to 35W via 94: 9 minutes

Northbound 35W from County 42 to Crosstown: 10 minutes To downtown Minneapolis: 17 minutes.
