7:35 a.m. update: Current drive times

A traffic jam has formed on eastbound I-494 from Hwy. 169 over to near Hwy. 100. A crash just moved to the left shoulder at West Bush Lake Road is the primary reason for the delay.

Elsewhere it's congestion that is bogging down the drive. It's especially slow on northbound I-35 through Lakeville and continuing on northbound I-35E from Wagon Wheel into downtown St. Paul.

Northbound Cedar Avenue is tight coming out of Apple Valley while northbound 35W runs sluggish from the Burnsville Split up to 98th Street.

On the north side, look for traffic sputtering on westbound Hwy. 36 between 35E and 35W and on southbound Hwy. 169 from Hwy. 610 to Medicine Lake Road.
