Our brief burst of crashes and problems have subsided for the moment, and that is allowing traffic to regain some momentum. That's the case on southbound Hwy. 100 where a crash at Hwy. 7 cleared a bit ago. Traffic still is sluggish in spots from 36th Avenue in Robbinsdale down to Execlsior Blvd.
The major snag on the system at the moment is a car fire and rescue on the right shoulder of westbound Hwy. 10 at Egret Blvd. Traffic comes to a halt at Foley Blvd. Eastbound slows a tad in the same area.
Here are some current travel times:
North metro
Southbound 35W from 95th Avenue to downtown Minneapolis: 16 minutes
Southbound 35E from County 96 to I-94: 18 minutes.
Eastbound Hwy. 10 from Hwy. 169 to 35W: 14 minutes
Westbound 694 from 35E to Hwy. 252: 10 minutes. Eastbound is 10 minutes.
