6 a.m. update: Current travel times

Flames are leaping from a vehicle that caught fire and is now burning on the right shoulder of southbound I-35 just prior to the Forest Lake Split. Authorities are shutting down the right lane approaching Hwy. 97. Traffic is still light in the area, so delays are minimal at this hour.

Eastbound 94 from Hwy. 101 to 494: 9 minutes

Southbound 494 from 94 down to 394: 6 minutes
