6:55 a.m. update: Not much relief

The snow is starting to taper off, but probably a bit too late to save this rush hour. Slippery roads continue to spawn crashes.

The snow is starting to taper off, but probably a bit too late to save this rush hour. Slippery roads continue to spawn crashes.

The latest is on eastbound I-94 at Victoria Street in St. Paul. That's got traffic jammed at Hamline Avenue.

Southbound 35W is still a grind from County Road I down to Hwy. 36. The good news is wrecks at County Road 96 has cleared. One at County E2 still resides on the right shoulder.

Also good news, wrecks on eastbound 94 at the Crow River and at the 494/694 split also have cleared. Traffic is still trudging along from Rogers to Maple Grove, however.

Look for delays on southbound Hwy. 100 due to a crash at France Avenue in Brooklyn Center. There also is a wreck on the ramp from northbound Hwy. 100 to eastbound 694.

Other problems spots:

  • Westbound 94 on the east side with wrecks at White Bear Avenue and Mounds Blvd. Plan on 25 minutes from 494 to 35E.
    • Eastbound 494 at Hardman Avenue in South St. Paul
