Commuters heading north on I-35W through Burnsville and south Minneapolis will find pockets of slow traffic followed by open spaces where speeds are at the posted. The sluggish traffic is between Cliff Road and the Minnesota River bridge, then ahead around 42nd Street in south Minneapolis. Time from County 42 to downtown is 20 minutes

A stall or some kind of traffic incident on northbound 35E has traffic riding the brakes from I-94 up to Maryland Avenue. The incident is on the north end of the Cayuga Bridge on the right shoulder.

Eastbound Hwy 10 also comes to a very slow roll at Hanson Blvd. A stall ahead near Egret Blvd. is attracting attention from passing motorists.
