An incident unfolding on the Mississippi River bridge on southbound I-35W has traffic jammed as far back as Hwy. 280. Slowing begins at County Road C in Roseville.

Law enforcement from three agencies are on the scene, apparently looking for a man who may have ended up in the river. A vehicle was found parked on the right shoulder near Washington Avenue.

The Hennepin County Sheriff's Office has arrived with a boat and is on the river searching.

In the meantime, motorists might be better served by using southbound Hwy. 280 to I-94, or getting off at Johnson/Industrial Blvd.and using city streets.
