A squad car with flashing lights parked on the right shoulder of southbound 35E at County Road J is enough to get a good gawker slowdown going. Traffic crams up around 64th Street and remains tight past the scene.
Ahead, it is a pretty nice drive into downtown St. Paul with only minor slowing rounding the curve at 694 and 35E. That's the west junction where one lane of southbound 35E is blocked due to construction.
Over on southbound 35W, the daily stagnation is forming between Lexington Avenue and I-694. Plan on 20 minutes from 95th Avenue to downtown Minneapolis.
The crash on westbound Hwy. 610 on the overpass at Hwy. 169 has cleared.
