Metro Transit tells the Drive that the northbound reverse trip on the Northstar line from Target Field to Big Lake is being delayed. A disabled freight train is blocking the tracks, and the Northstar is being held in Minneapolis. So far the delay is 20 minutes.

So far, none of the southbound trips have experienced delays. The question is how the northbound delay will affect the last southbound trip out of Big Lake. That train is used as the final in bound trip of the morning.
