Two road projects in the north metro has traffic at a standstill.
On westbound 694, the jamup begins at Central Avenue. The freeway is down to 2 lanes from just west of University Avenue over to Hwy. 252. The delay is 10 minutes.
The other hot spot is on southbound Hwy. 169. Overnight road work that was scheduled to be complete by 6 a.m. is still in place at 49th Avenue. It's a single lane there. As a result, traffic stacks up at 63rd Avenue. Use your zipper merging skills.
On southbound 35W, look for heavy traffic from Lake Drive down to 694.
In Lakeville, things are just starting to fill in on northbound 35 from County Road 46 to Crystal Lake Road.
