A fully engulfed car fire has the southbound lanes of University Avenue between Osborne Road and 73rd Avenue in Fridley closed. No word if the driver got out okay, but there has not been any calls for an ambulance.

Family members and a lawyer say they have been blocked from access to the bedside of Bonfilia Sanchez Dominguez, while her husband was detained and shipped to Texas within 24 hours.
