The morning rush hour is off to a quiet start with light levels of traffic on most major routes, and no crashes.

The morning rush hour is off to a quiet start with light levels of traffic on most major routes, and no crashes.

Enjoy the open roads while you can, because they will fill up as the morning rolls along. And this weekend, there will be a rash of road closings. Here is a list of what will be shut down starting Friday night until Monday morning:

  • Westbound I-94 from I-394 to 694
    • Both directions of Hwy. 252 at I-694
      • Westbound 694 at Hwy. 100
        • Northbound Hwy. 169 from Hwy. 55 to I-94
          • I-35W in both directions between Hwy. 13 and the Burnsville Split
            • Hwy. 95 from Hwy. 36 to Point Road in Oak Park Heights.
