The Gophers will be represented by a program-record 14 women and three men at the NCAA outdoor track and field championships in Eugene, Ore. A look at Minnesota’s qualifiers and when they compete:
Hammer throw final: Temi Ogunrinde, Nayoka Clunis, 3:30 p.m.
3,000-meter steeplechase semifinals: Madeline Strandemo, 6:32 p.m. (final is 5:54 p.m. Saturday)
100 hurdles semifinals: Emma Spagnola, 7:02 p.m. (final is 6:12 p.m. Saturday)
Javelin final: Nicole Murphy, 7:15 p.m.
400 semifinals: Emerald Egwim, Titania Markland, 7:30 p.m. (final is 6:32 p.m. Saturday)
400 hurdles semifinals: Spagnola, 8 p.m. (final is 6:57 p.m. Saturday)
Shot put final: Kiley Sabin, 8:10 p.m.
4x400 relay semifinals: Egwim, Rachel Schow, Markland, Val Larson, plus alternates Erin Huls and Lindsey Smits, 9:18 p.m. (final is 7:57 p.m. Saturday)
Heptathlon: Ayesha Champagnie, beginning 2:30 p.m. on Friday and 1:30 p.m. on Saturday
