Songwriter, singer
Wilson is a singer, songwriter and sometime visual artist from Minneapolis. He has a recent solo album, "Free Life." Wilson's band Semisonic, plays shows once in a while and you can still hear their songs on the radio. His band, Trip Shakespeare, doesn't perform anymore, but you can look them up on YouTube to watch the band. Wilson writes songs with a lot of great artists, one of which is "Not Ready to Make Nice" which he wrote with the Dixie Chicks and for which they won the Song of the Year Grammy in 2007. Wilson is currently working on a batch of songs for his next album and for other people's albums, too.

Good Moments
Dan, you may have noticed my nine-year-old and me watching your sound check at Zankel Saturday. 20 years ago my husband and I went to … read more every Trip Shakespeare show we could, while we lived in the Twin Cities & were going to college. Today I live in NYC and work at Carnegie Hall, and it was so fun to see you again, even for just a few minutes. I'm so glad you had a good experience here, that you got your poster home. When we were "kids" I was always astonished at how many Trip Shakespeare posters you guys somehow managed to blanket the city with. You must have built up some good poster karma with all that effort. Warm feelings for you, and Matt & John & Elaine are not diminished after all these years!
