NATO says 2 rockets hit military part of Kabul airport; no injuries

KABUL - NATO says two rockets were fired at the military part of Kabul's international airport, but did not cause any injuries.

NATO said the rockets were fired on Sunday night. It said one hit inside the airport perimeter. Officials were investigating whether the other had struck within or outside the perimeter.

In August, militants fired nine rockets at the Kabul airport ahead of the Afghan presidential elections.
