FOURTH TRIP TO ASIA

The four-day trip beginning Saturday will be the president's fourth to Asia. The unprecedented visit to Myanmar, also known as Burma, gives the trip a historic edge while shoring up a strategic regional goal.

• The president also has stops in Thailand and in Cambodia.

• He will meet with Thai Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra.

• In Cambodia, Obama will attend a gathering of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations and participate in this year's East Asia Summit to discuss security issues. The president is also expected to meet privately with several foreign leaders, including Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao and Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda.
