It’s that time of year again. The Minnesota Craft Brewers Guild is hosting its annual beer tasting event at the beautiful Minnesota History Center on February 3rd and tickets will go on sale at noon on Thursday, December 1st. Act fast because this event sold out last year in 30 seconds!
The annual Snowshoe award will be given to the brewery that offers the best beer as voted on by all attendees. This year there will be even more breweries, live music, and food catered by Bon Appétit all included for the ticket price of $55 plus service fees.
Michael Agnew, Minnesota’s first certified Cicerone and owner of A Perfect Pint will be on hand to provide attendees with beer education. He will take you through the steps to help determine your stylistic aptitude. Also providing beer education will be local beer historian Doug Hoverson, author of “Land of Amber Waters,” who will be there to provide historical information about brewing techniques, and talk about the “Breweriana” exhibit.
The MCBG always puts on great events and this would not be one to miss!
