It's been a pretty mild winter here in Western Montana, making the trout more than willing to provide some good action during what most call "the off season". Ever since I got back to Missoula for winter semester, days in the 40's have been common, and being on the water during them has been a treat. Trevor Anderson, 19, grew up hunting and fishing with his dad, Star Tribune outdoors columnist Dennis Anderson. He loves to fish, whether for muskies, walleyes, bass, or trout with a fly rod. In fall, he hunts waterfowl, upland game and deer with his bow.
