Several Twin Cities real estate agents, especially those who sell foreclosures, are among the busiest in the nation, according to REAL Trends, a group that tracks national housing trends.
In its annual “Top 1,000” rankings, which is done in conjunction with the Wall Street Journal, the group ranks the top 250 agents and teams in four categories, including top agents by transaction sides, top agents by transaction volume, top teams by transaction sides and top teams by transaction volume.
As expected, luxury home specialist, George Stickney of Coldwell Banker Burnet in Wayzata, ranked 105th nationwide in terms of volume with more than $58 million in sales.
Jesse Graber of Edina Realty ranked 119 in the individual category with nearly $42 million. Graber is a foreclosure expert, representing listings from several large lenders.
In the team category the top Minnesota group was the Minnesota Real Estate Team with Re/Max Advantage Plus, which sold almost $127 million, making it the 21st biggest team in the nation by volume. That same team ranked a whopping No. 3 nationwide for transaction sides.
For individual agents, Edina Realty’s Graber was 30th nationwide with 341 transaction sides. There are a handful of other Minnesota agents and teams on the national list, you can see the complete rankings by going to the RealTrends website by clicking this link.
Note: The survey is done annually and participation is voluntary. REAL Trends says that the vast majority of agents participate, and that the company double-checks all responses to make sure that agents aren’t fudging the numbers.
