American Indian Education Day
The 18th annual American Indian Education Day and Wacipi will be held on Saturday, April 27, from noon to 6 p.m. at Osseo Junior High.
Each year, this free event draws community members seeking to explore Native American heritage and culture through artisan exhibits, demonstrations, dance and other activities.
Guests are invited to browse American Indian artisan exhibits and experience Native American contemporary dance. They also can network with community members and educators about American Indian culture.
Two high school seniors honored
Mitchell and Tyler K. Harris, both seniors at Minnetonka High School, have been awarded $2,500 National Achievement Scholarships.
The National Achievement Scholarship Program is a privately financed academic competition established in 1964 to honor scholastically talented black American youth.
Winners were selected based on PSAT scores, high school transcript, extracurricular activities and an essay.
The twin brothers plan to attend the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and study finance.
St. Louis Park
High school puts on ‘Cat’s Meow’
“The Cat’s Meow,” based on the true story of a mysterious Hollywood death, will be presented this weekend at St. Louis Park High School.
Performances are 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, April 26-27, and 2 p.m. Sunday, April 28.
All performances will be held in the high school auditorium located along the W. 33rd Street entrance.
General admission tickets will be available at the door 30 minutes before the show at $7 for adults and $5 for students and seniors.
Spring open house at Holy Angels
The Academy of Holy Angels is sponsoring a spring open house for prospective students at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 25.
Visitors will be able to hear presentations by teachers from all academic areas and tour the school. Families interested in attending can contact Jesse Foley at email@example.com or Emily Dapper, firstname.lastname@example.org.
Parents are also invited to a question-and-answer session with the staff from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. on May 2.

Blessed Trinity to host Latin party
Blessed Trinity will host its seventh annual Fiesta Latina from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, April 28, at the Church of the Assumption, 305 E. 77th St. in Richfield.
There will be homemade food, music, entertainment, a cash raffle, and a raffle with prizes from Crave, Waterpark of America and Fairfield Inn Marriott.
