Vandalism. Officers responded to a home on the 6300 block of Butterworth Lane regarding a vandalism report. Someone had put toilet paper in the trees, rubber bands in the driveway and their vehicle was covered with ­Silly String.

Underage consumption. Two males, ages 13 and 18, were cited for underage consumption of alcohol at the Edina Aquatic Center, 4300 66th St.

Theft. Teeth-whitening products valued at $676 were stolen from Walgreens, 6975 York Av. S.

JUNE 1

Assist the public. Someone reported an open door at Birdstone Beads, 351 2nd St. No employees were in the business. It was discovered that the 54-year-old ­female owner left for lunch and forgot to lock the door.

JUNE 5

Animal complaint. Someone called police for assistance in removing a squirrel from the ductwork of a house on the 100 block of Maple Street. Plunkett's Pest Control arrived and removed the squirrel.

Theft. A rock was thrown through the window of a vehicle and a carton of cigarettes were stolen from inside on the 14700 block of 80th Avenue.

Burglary. Fishing equipment valued at $1,200 was stolen from an open garage on the 2200 block of Coldwater Crossing.

Animal complaint. Officers spoke to the owner of a dog regarding a barking complaint on Wind Ridge Trail.

Noise complaint. Someone was shooting off fireworks on Painter Road. Officers found them to be legal fireworks.

Check welfare. Officers responded to a home on Saunders Lake Drive regarding a 911 call. It was discovered that a child accidentally made the call.

JUNE 24

Burglary. A safe and other items were stolen from an apartment on the 7700 block of Penn Avenue S. Entry was made through an unlocked window.

JUNE 25

Assault. A 19-year-old Richfield woman was arrested for assault and property damage following a disturbance on the 6300 block of Bryant Avenue S.

JUNE 29

Theft. A faucet valued at $189 was stolen from Menards, 7701 Nicollet Av. S.

Assault. A 27-year-old man was arrested for assault and disorderly conduct on the 6500 block of Oliver Avenue S.

TONKA BAY

JUNE 1

Animal complaint. A deer was reported swimming in the water near the Narrows Bridge. Officers arrived and found the deer out of the water and on the rocks under the bridge.

JUNE 6

Underage consumption. Two 18-year-old males were cited for underage consumption of alcohol on the 6200 block of Orchid Lane.
