Tobacco violation. A 15-year-old Carver boy was cited for possession of an electronic cigarette device at Chanhassen High School, 2200 Lyman Blvd.
Underage consumption. A 15-year-old Chanhassen girl was cited for underage drinking in the 8000 block of Dakota Lane.
Drugs. A 57-year-old St. Louis Park woman was arrested for possession of narcotics at Hazelton and York avenues.
Theft. Four boys, ages 15 to 17, were arrested for possession of stolen property in the 4700 block of Anaway Drive.
Theft. A wallet was stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 4000 block of Bell Rose Drive.
Theft. A laptop and other items were stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 18600 block of 97th Place.
Fire. An officer responded to a report of a grass fire in the 18000 block of Weaver Lake Drive, and found it to be a large bonfire. Fire department officials had the homeowner put it out.
Drugs. A 23-year-old St. Michael man was cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia at Hwy. 55 and Willow Drive.
Check welfare. Officers responded to a report of a Lexus that had put out a distress signal at a home in the 4400 block of Bluebell Trail S. They found the vehicle but were unable to make contact with anyone at the home. Police eventually were able to reach by phone the resident, who said everything was fine and that her kids had been playing in the car.
Drugs. A 24-year-old Maple Grove man was arrested for possession of narcotics following a traffic stop at Highway 169 and Schmidt Lake.
Drugs. A 20-year-old Andover man was cited for possession of marijuana after he was stopped for an equipment violation at Dunkirk Lane and Medina Road.
Drugs. Two 16-year-old boys were arrested for possession of a controlled substance following a traffic stop at Lancaster and Pilgrim lanes.
Theft. Cloth diapers were stolen from a home in the 7200 block of Grand Avenue S.
Drugs. Officers responded to a report of a man slumped over the steering wheel of a vehicle in the 7700 block of Nicollet Avenue S. The 53-year-old Minneapolis man was arrested for possession of narcotics and driving under the influence of alcohol.
Drunken driving. A 37-year-old Bloomington man was arrested for drunken driving after he was stopped for an equipment violation at W. 72nd Street and Penn Avenue S.
Drugs. A 24-year-old Bloomington woman was arrested for possession of heroin in the 1100 block of W. 78th Street.
Drunken driving. A 58-year-old Excelsior man was arrested for drunken driving after officers investigated a property damage crash in the 23000 block of Smithtown Road.
