Archery in the park

Wild River State Park, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday

Park potholes tour

Interstate State Park, Noon-1 p.m. Saturday and Sunday

Discover how lakes of lava and gushing glacial waters formed the park’s unique potholes. Journey over, under and through world-renowned rock features on this 45-minute naturalist-guided tour. There will be some uneven terrain and stairs. Meet at the visitor center. (651-465-5711, mndnr.gov)

Yoga for kids

Trail hike

I Can Fish! trout

Carley State Park, 10:30 a.m.-noon Saturday

An introductory program. Meets at the picnic shelter at the park in southeastern Minnesota. Equipment provided. Youth must be accompanied by an adult. Bring your own bait; worms often work best. Fishing licenses and trout stamps are not required. (507-932-3007, mndnr.gov)

Living History days

The Landing, Noon-5 p.m. Sunday

The Landing-Minnesota River Heritage Park in Shakopee was established in 1969. The 88-acre museum depicts life in the lower Minnesota River Valley from the 1840s to 1890s with costumed interpreters, authentic buildings and demonstrations.
