The hardy outdoor artists who make up the Art Shanty Projects have returned to frozen Medicine Lake for a sixth year, and this time a big theme of the project is "radical mapping." Art geeks, lefties and geography majors alike will enjoy the Map Shanty site, which provides a highly graphical guide to this year's ice-house art installations. There are also links to mind-bending alternative maps and an interesting photo gallery of the icy scenes in Plymouth. (More shanty info at artshantyprojects.org.)
