Ben has been interested in weather, especially severe weather, ever since he saw the power of weather firsthand while camping in Northern Minnesota as a boy scout, where he endured two days of severe straight line winds and tornadoes. While he remains interested in severe weather and storm spotting as an official spotter for the National Weather Service, his interests have expanded to include personal weather stations and weather technology.
