Melissa Watson has lived in the Twin Cities metro all her life with the exception of a three-year stint in sunny, warm Phoenix, AZ. Since then her appreciation of “nice” weather has grown exponentially. She is an outdoor enthusiast on multiple levels: golfing, hiking, camping and outdoor shopping (farmers markets and malls). Her pup Scout loves his fenced backyard and visiting the dog park when it is not muddy. Weather is a part of everyday life for the two of us.

What happened to November?

DiggIt is hard to believe that it is already mid-November. I remember years when around my birthday, there would be piles of snow on the yard and on the roads. I prefer the sun and 50-60 degree temps that have greeted us over the past two weeks instead this time of year.
I was surprised to see that the Nicollet Mall Farmers Market was still happening today. My assumption was that it was due to the nice, nice weather. Actually, the event is slated through the end of the month anyway. Here are some details: http://www.mplsfarmersmarket.com/nicollet.htm.
Later this week we will be dumb-smacked with regular highs (close to 42-degrees)
