More October than May - Pattern Slow & Sluggish; Prone to Flooding Rains

Paul Douglas on Weather Logo For the first time in 20 months we may experience a cooler than average month in the Twin Cities. May has been cool, gray and wet. Cool and Showery Memorial Day - Flashes of Summer Return Late Week

Sunday wasn't a total loss, in fact much of the day was just fine over central and southern Minnesota with plentiful sunshine and temperatures close to average. Instability showers and T-storms quickly sprouted, putting a damper on outdoor activities by late afternoon and evening. We warm up by late week but I see a persistent cool bias into at least the first week of June, maybe longer.
