It's bad already, and it's going to get worse. An exceedingly strong storm will continue to produce high winds and heavy rain in coastal British Columbia Wednesday night into Thursday. The big mountains of western British Columbia will get a lot of snow with up to 3 feet possible.
Though British Columbia is where the meanest part of the storm is aimed, bad weather is also going to impact the Pacific Northwest. Western Washington and Oregon can expect wind and rain beginning Thursday and persisting into Friday.
The snow level in the Cascades will start out at 6,500 feet Thursday, but it will lower to 3,000 feet within 24 hours.
