Vikings WR Cordarrelle Patterson went to his first NHL game during this year's regular season. He liked it, but it couldn't prepare him for his next game: a Wild playoff game.

He was present for a Wild playoff victory over the Avs; the atmosphere and the game itself impressed him so much that Patterson sat down and watched Game 7 from his couch last night -- and was tweeting up a storm along the way.

He even promised to take a fan to dinner to watch one of the first two games against Chicago (no word on when/if that will happen yet).

We had a chance to ask him about his sudden love of hockey today during Vikings access, and he was all smiles. Here is a link to the video, if you can't see it at the top of this post.
