On the road with the Minnetonka Skippers

The Minnetonka High School football team--all 83 varsity players---traveled from Minnesota to Kansas City for a match up against Rockhurst high school. The team left Minnetonka on three chartered buses after practice on Wednesday. They stayed the night at a hotel in Ames, Iowa, practiced at the university there, and then drove to Kansas City for a 7 p.m. game that was broadcast on Fox Sports North. After the game, the team boarded their buses for the 7-hour, overnight ride home.
