Ayden Mette, who turns 8 next week, is in an intensive therapy program for autism. Therapists come to his home in Plymouth to work with him 56 hours a week, but the therapy is expensive - more than $100,000 a year. His mother, Tisha Mette, has joined a campaign to require insurers to cover the therapy, which critics say is unproven.
