Former Minnesota Gov. Jesse Ventura knows how to get attention.

Starting next week, Ventura will begin pitching his new book, "American Conspiracies: Lies, Lies, and More Dirty Lies that the Government Tells Us," all over the place.

The governor will begin his blitz with a morning appearance on NBC's "Today Show" Monday morning, the first day of the book's general release and tentatively close the day with an appearance on CNN's "Larry King Live," according to his publisher.

He's got lots of local and syndicated radio spots on the docket, including on shows like online's Black Op Radio, which calls itself "the voice of political conspiracy research." Ventura's spot on Black Op will be preceded by four shows about "JFK Assassination Research."

Ventura also has in-person book signings scheduled in Minnesota, California, New York, New Jersey and other places.
