Pink Floyd frontman Roger Waters will return to Xcel Energy Center this summer for the first time since 2012 during his North American Us + Them tour.

The solo show, which will incorporate much of the legendary band's classic songs along with his own new works, promises brilliant visuals when it hits the stage July 26.

Tickets ($52.50-$247.50) go on sale Friday, Oct. 21 at 10 a.m. VIP packages and Citi presale tickets will begin on Monday, Oct. 17.

The tour's title derives from the 1974 track "Us And Them," recorded for the multimillion-selling Pink Floyd album "The Dark Side of the Moon."

"We are going to take a new show on the road, the content is very secret," Waters said in a statement. "It'll be a mixture of stuff from my long career, stuff from my years with Pink Floyd, some new things. Probably 75 percent of it will be old material and 25 percent will be new, but it will be all connected by a general theme."

Waters' last trip to Minnesota involved a highly touted performance of "The Wall," a return of the theatrical presentation of Pink Floyd's beloved landmark 1979 album. Since 2010 when he first brought the show to the St. Paul arena, Pink Floyd mastermind Waters has done more than 200 performances of "The Wall."

The Us + Them tour announcement comes just after Desert Trip, a festival on the grounds where Coachella is held that featured sets by the Pink Floyd founder, the Who, Paul McCartney, Neil Young, the Rolling Stones and Bob Dylan.
