Web customers for streaming service Netflix were greeted with technical difficulties for a few hours on Saturday night when trying to log in to the service — breaking the hearts of "Stranger Things" fans and tired parents worldwide.

Late Saturday, Netflix reported the problems had been resolved.

Before that, while Apple TV customers in the U.S. saw no immediate disruptions, Netflix users slinging their web players to TVs or simply using their laptops could not access accounts. Same for territories in Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Switzerland and New Zealand, per Twitter.

Netflix's helpline acknowledged, "we are aware that some customers are seeing errors when visiting Netflix's website and we are working to solve this as quickly as possible."

A Netflix spokesperson did not immediately return TheWrap's request for comment.
