Definition: Walking while texting. Or, if you like, texting while walking. Distinct from waxting, which is texting while getting a Brazilian.

Sample usage: "If John hadn't been wexting he might have seen the truck. But it was a lovely service, wasn't it?"

Popularity: Like most words chopped up and stitched together in a new arrangement, it's a bit cutesy-clever. It's also an accurate description of commonplace behavior that doesn't have another word to describe it. You might use it to explain that you're on your way: "Wexting now lol be there soon."

Chance of catching on: High, although one thing might blunt its adoption — the very act of typing the word while wexting probably will make your phone autocorrect it to "texting." You can't win.
