The Twins remain close to finalizing a deal with free agent outfielder Josh Willingham, but according to a source familiar with the negotiations, the talks have not reached the point where there's a full agreement, pending a physical.
Also, nobody from the Twins or Michael Cuddyer's camp has officially said that the sides are moving in different directions. The sides have been suspiciously quiet, but few expect the Twins to end up with both Willingham and Cuddyer.
