The Vikings announced this morning that seven of their eight 2016 draft picks are officially under contract after six more of them put pen to paper before the start of this weekend’s rookie minicamp.

Sixth-round pick Moritz Boehringer signed his rookie deal on Monday.

Top pick Laquon Treadwell is the only draft pick who remains unsigned. But the former Mississippi wide receiver is still participating in the rookie minicamp after signing an injury protection agreement.

Under the current CBA, these deals for draft picks are basically a formality, so there is nothing to worry about with Treadwell. After all, only one team, the Atlanta Falcons, has already signed its entire draft class.

“It’ll get done soon,” Treadwell said after today’s morning session.
