Mother Nature won on Monday, as the Twins and Orioles had their game rained out.

They will attempt to play on Tuesday at Target Field, but there is more rain in the forecast. If they play, righthander Jose Berrios will start for the Twins and righthander Kevin Gausman will start for Baltimore.

The rainout helps the Orioles. They were without a starter for Wednesday. Former Twin Vance Worley was one of the candidates.

But Orioles manager Buck Showalter was able to take Monday's starter, Tyler Wilson, and flip him to Wednesday opposite of the Twins' Phil Hughes.

The injured Twins - Trevor Plouffe, Brian Dozier and Kurt Suzuki - get a day recover.

Monday's game will be made up on July 28 at Target Field.
