Detroit (8-5) entered Friday in second place in the AL Central. … LF Christin Stewart leads the team with two home runs and 10 RBI but is only hitting .175. … Two-time MVP Miguel Cabrera, who had season-ending biceps surgery after only 38 games last season, hasn't homered in 54 plate appearances. With 465 career homers, the 36-year-old is destined to be the 28th member of the 500 Home Run Club. … LHP Matt Moore, who pitched 10 scoreless innings in two starts, suffered a right knee injury Saturday and could be facing surgery.
