Aaron Falzon scored a career-high 21 points and made six three-pointers, tying another career best, to lead Northwestern to a 73-66 victory over Indiana on Tuesday night in Evanston, Ill.

Falzon went 6-for-7 from beyond the arc and Dererk Pardon added 17 points as Chris Collins became the third Northwestern coach with 100 wins. The Wildcats (12-7, 3-5 Big Ten) handed the Hoosiers (12-7, 3-5) their fifth straight loss.

Juwan Morgan led Indiana with 18 points and 11 rebounds. Star freshman Romeo Langford scored 12.

No. 8 Kentucky 76, No. 22 Mississippi State 55: PJ Washington scored 21 points and Tyler Herro added 18 as the host Wildcats (15-3, 5-1 Southeastern Conference) survive some rough stretches to rout the Bulldogs (14-4, 2-3) who got within 41-39 with 13:39 left. Reid Travis grabbed 12 rebounds for Kentucky.

South Carolina 80, No. 16 Auburn 77: Chris Silva had a career-high 32 points, and Felipe Haase's three-pointer with 30.3 seconds left put the host Gamecocks (10-8, 5-1 SEC) ahead for good against the Tigers (13-5, 2-3).

Kansas State 58, No. 14 Texas Tech 45: Barry Brown Jr. had 15 points, Dean Wade 13 and the host Wildcats (15-4, 5-2 Big 12) held the Red Raiders (15-4, 4-3) to 33-percent shooting and forced 30 turnovers. Jarrett Culver led Texas Tech with 17 points.

Northern Illinois 77, No. 14 Buffalo 75: Noah McCarty made a bank shot with two seconds left to give the Huskies (11-8, 4-2 Mid-American Conference) the upset over the visiting Bulls (17-2, 5-1).
